[data missing form copy] ... on Rt. 1, DeWitt at 11:45 p.m. September 18, were held at 2 p.m. Friday September 21 at Essex Chapel with Rev. Homer A. Bradley officiating. Mr. Bullock was born February 7, 1897 and has resided in Arkansas County his entire life. He was a carpenter and farmer and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Jo, eight children, Mrs. Willie Thurgood, DeWitt; James D. Bullock, Mobile, Alabama; Harvey Bullock, Stuttgart; William G. Bullock, Bell, California; Roy O. [Orville] Bullock, Pine Bluff; Marvin R. Bullock, San Antonio, Texas; Harold D. Bullock, Pine Bluff and Hobert Bullock Jr., Dayton, Ohio; 6 step-children; one brother, Elmer of DeWitt, one sister, Mrs. Maude Johnson LaVitte of DeWitt, eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Ralph Kilburn, Harold Hornbeck, Jimmy Orrick, Glen Ax, Lloyd Rogers and John [Yo]ung. Burial was in Van Camp Cemetery.
