Hi, Jim, I am in Brighton, CO. My Bullock connection is to Mary Margaret Bullock who married Rene de St. Julien. She was born in Bermuda to Stephen and Marie Bullock. He was a sea captain whose shipping business sailed mainly between Bermuda and Charleston where the de St. Juliens settled about 1700. Stephen's parents were William and Patience Payntor Bullock, Quakers of Bermuda. Rene was as French Huguenot who fled France to Holland to England to Bermuda and then to Charleston. He fought at the Battle of Boyne on behalf of William III and Mary. For his service he was awarded a large land grant in the colonies which he never saw. It was along the Mississippi. I keep wondering whether any of Mary Margaret's siblings came to Charleston with them???? Marie, her mother was a lovely Spanish lady, Rene called their son, Isaac, "My little Spaniard," for he was dark. Rene had red hair and was over 6 feet tall. Any chance you know any thing about these Bullocks?---Charlene ila41430@aol.com
