Even if Daniel wasn't identified in the deed as Comfort's father, if the deed mentions that the land was given or bequeathed to Comfort by Daniel, that would be a very strong indication of a father/son relationship. Gifts or bequeaths were usually from parents to children. It would be interesting to know what the deed says.
