    1. [Bullock] Thomas T. Bullock of Tennessee and Texas Descendants
    2. Lynda Fredendall
    3. I am a descendant of Thomas T. through his son Thaddeus, Sr., Thaddeus Jr. to Thaddeus III and my mim, Edith Elnora Bullock. Does anyone know where the Thaddeus Warsaw name came from? I found a book called "Thaddeus of Warsaw" that was very popular in, I think, the 1850's. A possibility! 1. [Bullock] BULLOCKS in OK & TX
    2. Deb, I'm happy to see the BULLOCK & CLARK names tied together. Although over a century later and in TX, Wise Co. on 30 Aug 1887 a: Oscar Allen Rudolph CLARK , b. 25 Feb 1847, a s/o A. C. BULLOCK & Martha HUNTER, married the widow of Licugas F. BULLOCK who had four children: 1. Aaron Lenard, b. 29 Sep 1880 at Cisco, Eastland,TX. 2. Roxie Maie, b. 15 Jul 1882 at Pella, Wise, TX. 3. Leona Elizabeth, b. 16 Nov. at Pella,Wise,TX. 4. Azolie nmn, b. 1886 at Bowie,Montague,TX. Their mother's maiden name was Mississippi Belle CASTLEMAN. Now the problem: Oscar Allen Rudolph CLARK also went by the BULLOCK surname, and could have lived with Licugas & Belle before the death and remarriage. I'm trying to get census information from the 1880 one, through the 1920 one for places I know they were. I'm trying to get, for sure, the surname he was born, raised, and married with, either a BULLOCK or CLARK (B/C). My kids, in their 40s now, do not know if their grandpa was a B or a C. Now they (Oscar & Belle) had four children, at least two of them were raised (born ?) with the BULLOCK surname. 1. Beulah Inez (B/C), b. 3 Sep 1888 at Ft. Worth, Tarrant,TX. 2. Nancy Price (B/C), b. 23 Mar 1890 at Indian Territory, OK. 3. John Clarence Jerome (B/C) b. 10 Apr 1892 at Indian Territory, OK. and 4. Althea G. (B/C), b. 13 May 1897 at Indian Territory, OK. I have this info thanks to Asa Castleman but need some more help in OK and TX with birth/marriage records sources. My children are the grandchildren of John Clarence Jerome BULLOCK, aka JC Bullock and I'm trying to fill out this side of their "tree". Any help will be very much appreciated, you can tell I really need it. I have some info "on the younger generations" I will share. How do you research in the "Indian Territory"?? Who had/has the records etc.?? I printed out a Census Index of TX BULLOCKS, thanks to Peter S. Bullock's efforts , so now have an idea of where the BULLOCKs lived in TX. All over it seems. This is going to all the names I could find who expressed interest in the BULLOCK surname. I'll send a query to all TX counties mentioned above plus some OK sites. The local LDS Fam. CTtr. does not have the records I need but say the Mesa branch has most of them. I'll visit ASAP. Bill Barnette, Tucson, AZ

    3. Dear Melba, Merry Christmas! Nice to see a Bullock/Horton Cousin in here. Yes, it looks like my great grandma Sarah Elizabeth Bullock and your great grandfather (Thadeus Warsaw Bullock Jr.) were brother and sister. My grandma was one of four children (born to Sarah Elizabeth Bullock ? and Albert C. Thacker). Sarah and Albert are children of Bullock sisters (Susan & Sarah Sally). The only problem I am having, is that she said she was raised by an Uncle and that her mom died in child birth (very young). Also that her mom was Indian?? Do you know anything about these four children and their parents: James, Sarah "Sally", Hattie Mae, Beatrice Blanch....?
