    3. Hello to the Bullock Group: I am researching the origins and possible connections of the Bullock families in and about the town of Bethel, NC, up to 1790. This area falls near the touching corners of Pitt, Edgecombe, and Martin Counties, and Bullock records are found in all three counties. Persons in this area, in the order in which I have first found them listed in the different counties, include: Year Name County Record 1762 - James Bullock Pitt Tax List 1763 - James Bullock, Sr. Pitt Tax List 1763 - Josiah Bullock Pitt Tax List 1763 - Thomas Bullock Pitt Tax List 1766 - James Bullock, Jr. Pitt Will Legatee 1766 - Drewry Bullock Pitt Will Witness 1768 - John Bullock Pitt Deed 1769 - John Bullock Edgecombe Deed 1774 - David Bullock Edgecombe Will 1777 - Ephraim Bullock Pitt Deed 1777 - Samuel Bullock Pitt Tax List 1779 - Obediah Bullock Martin Tax List 1779 - Ephraim Bullock Martin Tax List 1786 - John Bullock Martin Deed 1790 - Josiah Bullock Martin Census 1790 - Edward Bullock Pitt Census 1790 - Daniel Bullock Pitt Census Any information on: James, Josiah, Thomas, Drewry, John, David, Ephraim, Samuel, Obediah, Edward, Daniel Bullock, or Bullocks mentioned before 1790 whom I might have omitted in these three counties would be greatly appreciated. Some information has also been collected on the Bullock families of Granville and Robeson Counties, and I will be happy to exchange information on these families as well. 3. Sharon, I am looking for James and Sarah Elizabeth BULLOCK and their children. They both died prior to 1864, and I have never been able to find them in the 1860 Census data. Are you saying that they are in Putnum County, Indiana? If that is the case I did not know this. Putnum County is one of the locations where a number of my lineages are located. Any information is appreaciated. Thanks Michael R. WilSon 1109 NE 97th Place Kansas City, Missouri 64155 [email protected]

William W. YATES moved his family to Buchanan County, Missouri some time after the death of his wife. William W. YATES died in Buchanan County, Missouri. However, William W. YATES is not buried in that county. It is possible that he was buried in Putnum County, Indiana with his wife. Laney and William W. YATES had the following children: George Anna (b: abt 1849), John Owens (b: abt 1852), Nannie L. (b: abt 1855), William J. (b: abt 1857), and Martin Tyler (b: abt 1847). 3. Polly JOHNSON.
