Tom (and Karen) Rogers ps: Phyllis, actually it's me, Karen, doing the research. I use Tom's name because it's easier to explain. He's letting ME do all the work <grin>!!! I'm really looking forward to hearing from you!

Robert, I have just printed out your 8-page message. It was received fine. Some more very interesting stuff. Have you written a book yet, or do you plan to with all of this information that you have? By the way, I have been sent information on my other Bullock line--David out of Edgecombe Co., N. C., and it goes back to John, son of Jeremiah. Thanks, Robert, for all these goodies. ...Fay
Hi, I have John Bullock in my family line, I am fairly new at all of this, but can add alittle info on this family if anyone is looking. John signed his will in 1736, making his wife Cathrine, executor. Their children were John, George, James, William, Richard, and Margaret. Thank You, Carolyn
Hi, Are there any books on the Castle--also is this Bullock's Castle in Ireland? I am looking for informantion on Bullocks Castle in Ireland--just because of the name Bullock. My Bullock's are from St. Mary's County, Maryland, USA. John Bullock was indentured and his papers were signed in Dec. 1659. He died in 1705 in St. Mary's Co. I have not found his grave. I have very little information on his family, but do have his will, which names his children. I have not been able to find out where he came from either or his parents or siblings. His wife is supposely ____ ? Assiter. His sons were names John Bullock, Jr. and William Bullock. John Bullocks home was at a small village called Oakley. Later the family seat is on an Island called Bullock Island in the Potomac River--began with about 100 acres and now down to about 1 acre in size. One house remains on the land and its about to fall into the river, unless something is done to keep the land from washing into the river. The house can only have a generator to supply power for fridgerator or lights, etc. Last August there was an article in the newspaper called "Maryland Today" which said "Save Bullock Island". I have not been able to find an e-mail address or an address to write someone asking that I too am in favor of the goverments help in saving Bullock Island. I know these probably are not your Bullocks, but just wanted to pass the information on, in case you know of anyone connected to the John Bullock family from St. Mary's Co., Maryland.
