Marielle FORD sent me the below & as Hester's 2nd marriage was to George Charles SHRIVES, the oldest son of William SHRIVES, I'm thinking Hester's older sister could very well be the lady who married my 3rd great grandfather: Hester was born 19 November 1849 and baptised in Uitenhage on 13 January 1850.
