I received a beautifully written letter today with family photos from HELEN CLAASSEN all the way from Cape Coral USA. She was hoping that I could help her with details of her family. However there appears to be some misunderstanding as I sadly do not have any knowledge of her family and am unable to help. Is there perhaps anyone else who can? The details she has provided are Her name is HELEN CLAASSEN and she was married to OLIVER J. CLAASSEN, born August 1945 died August 2009. Oliver's mother was ELIZABETH VAN DER MERWE. His father was JOHANNES THEODORUS CLAASSEN. They appear to have been married in Grahamstown in July 1943.
