Ten tyde van sy oorlye was hy getroud met Anna Sophia BOTHA maar sy eerste eggenoot was Johanna Du PLOOY - b3c9 Die naam “Veetskraal” vind ek nêrens – dit behoort in die omgewing van Bruintjeshoogte, Somerset-Oos te wees maar my soektogte het geen resultate gelewer nie.
