Met my navorsing oor die Vosloos was dit interessant om te sien dat daar met die Vosloo-stamvader se emigrasie na Suid-Afrika in waarskynlik ca 1680 'n hele klompie Vosloo-mans in Duitsland geleef het - ten minste 10 of wat. Daar was moontlik ook nog meer omdat my bronne - die LDS se Familisearch databasis en ander inligting wat ons uit Duitsland ontvang het - uiteraard nie noodwendig almal se name bevat het nie. In die Duitse telefoongids van ca 2003 was minder as 100 Vosslohs/Voslohs terwyl daar in Suid-Afrika se telefoongids ongeveer 1000 was. Nie 'n baie wetenskaplike manier om my punt te bewys nie, maar ek is baie seker dat daar baie, baie meer Vosloos in Suid-Afrika is as in Duitsland. En ook dat die gemiddelde aantal draers per van onder die Afrikaner baie meer sal wees as wat die geval in Frankryk en Brittanje sal wees. Dit is egter ook moontlik dat die baie immigrante uit ander lande die Britse en Franse se getalle beinvloed. Die berekening geld dus nie vir die ou Britse en Franse families nie.
