Dear Judith, Not sure if anyone can help but I am looking for any information on my Great Grandfather John HENDRICK who was a musician and Professor of music. He taught somewhere in Windsor.I am trying also to find out where he studied. My Grandmother told me he often went over to France to do with his music. If anyone can put me on the right path I would be extremely grateful. Any info I have that could be useful would be willingly shared. Many thanks for any help. There were exams which could be taken (from the Royal Academy of Music in London, giving letters LRAM eventually) to give him some paper qualifications. Depends very much on the dates involved. -- Eve McLaughlin Author of the McLaughlin Guides for family historians Secretary Bucks Genealogical Society
