Is there anyone who is able to help me find the following family in the 1861 census John Boughton aged 35 born Padbury & his wife Ann Boughton aged 33 born Whaddon & their children William J aged 9 born London John S aged 7 born London Sarah Ann aged 3 born Newton Longville. John & Ann seemed to move backwards and forwards to London quiite a lot, but he was in Newton Longville in September 1860 when Sarah Ann was christened. The two older boys were not christened until 1866 in London, so they were certainly alive in 1861. By the time of the 1881 census, John has remarried, but I can find no trace of the children, or even find the death of his first wife! many thanks Jean
