I have a Dorothy CAPEL who died in 1938, daughter of Joseph and Eliza CARR of Thornborough. She was married to George (Jack) FODDY and referred to by family members as Aunt Dot. I cannot find her on 1881, 1891 or 1901 Census and am wondering if 'Dot' or Dorothy was a 'nick' name. Can anyone offer any help on this one please?
