Be careful: FreeBMD shows a few Joseph Woodbridges about the right age born in Bucks (& perhaps the death of the right one in Middlesex in 1888), the IGI shows one born in Aylesbury in 1843, & censuses show one in Huntingdonshire born in Haddenham. I think you'll need his marriage certificate, which should show his fathers name.
