I have a Dorothy CAPEL who died in 1938, daughter of Joseph CAPEL and Eliza CARR of Thornborough. She was married to George (Jack) FODDY and referred to by family members as Aunt Dot. I cannot find A Dorothy CAPEL on 1881, 1891 or 1901 Census and am wondering if 'Dot' or Dorothy was a 'nick' name. Can anyone offer any help on this one please?
