    3. I wonder of some person on this knowledgeable list may be able to help me? I have a schoolboy at Sedgley Park in Staffordshire who had an allowance of two pounds sterling ?2.0s.0d (two pounds) and 10 shillings spending cash for a journey home in March 1829 - But where was home? Does anyone know where I could locate a list of coach fares around 1829 so I could get some idea of a radius to where he may have travelled ? The nearest big towns from where the journey may have commenced were Wolverhampton or Dudley. And 2 pounds in those days would be worth about ?104 pounds in today's money - quite a substantial sum. Many thanks in advance, Ken
