Hi Shirley No, the parish records for Bucks generally aren't on line, although there may be snippets here and there. The Bucks section of GENUKI is good for details on what might be available for any given place: http://met.open.ac.uk/genuki/big/eng/BKM/#index and click on the Towns and Parishes link, then look for Swanbourne. The coverage of LDS films for Bucks parishes is also pretty good, so you should be able to review the films of the parish records. Thought the census might help: I went through the scans of Swanbourne's 1841 census for you (well, your William was on the first page, love it when that happens ;) : Matilda ROGERS age 30 occupation looks like carrier (so might be mentioned in county directories of the time?), born in county Sarah ROGERS age 7 born in county William ROGERS age 5 born in county plus same house in her own household: Elizabeth TURVEY 3 born in county Swanbourne piece 50 ed 31 folio 3 pg 1 Unfortunately no man of the house (apart from young William of course!). Had a quick skim through the rest but didn't spot any other ROGERS. However in the 1851 census he is still living at home - plus Dad is there too! ROGERS William 40 born Swanbourne, farmer 27 acres 1 lab ROGERS Matilda 40 born Bow Brickhill ROGERS Sarah 17 born Swanbourne, dressmaker ROGERS William 15 born Swanbourne, employed on farm ROGERS Alfred 7 born Swanbourne, scholar ROGERS Susannah 4 born Swanbourne, scholar ROGERs Mark 2 born Swanbourne Swanbourne piece 1722 folio 115 So that gives you an outline of the family.
