So many of our ancestors faded away, many as children or young adults, from the effects of tuberculosis, the scourge of England in Victorian times especially. Dr Hugh Stradling will investigate the cases, the progress of the creeping disease known as THE WHITE DEATH because the victims grew paler and thinner for years.
