I am so happy because I have found an answer to a long standing brick wall on the 1861 1837 online site. We have never been able to discover the link with the 'WRAY' family in LONDON and the 'WRAY' family in DURHAM but on the 1861 Middlesex site have discovered MARTIN OSTERFIELD (ASTERFIELD) WRAY born DURHAM listed as a visitor at 33 Newman Street, Marylebone. Martin died before the 1881 census so I not had this link before. I hope this gives people hope that they may might discover some long lost ancestors.
