Hi, Charlotte MANNERS was my gg grandmother and according to census records and a marriage licence bond was born in Wycombe Bucks in 1806. Would SKS who has access to Wycombe PRs, please see if they can find a record of her christening? I am anxious to know the names of her parents as I have recently been in contact with someone who may be related to the same family. I hate asking for look-ups, but feel too impatient at the moment to arrange for a search and wait for results. According to oral family history, Charlotte was related to the MAY and COOPER families of Sonning Berks. I think her family may have moved to Sonning as she was married there (to Henry ROSE of Wheatley) in 1832. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has any advice, information or connection.
