    1. Missing in 1861 - Mary Ann SHAW
    2. I've looked for her everywhere! Mary Ann (born ca 1834 in Aylesbury, according to 1871 census onward) & Fanny Elizabeth (born Feb 1860) SHAW. Mary Ann had 5 children in Aylesbury between 1858 & 1869, all christened in St. Marys (though the 1863, 1865 & 1869 ones weren't christened until just before she married in 1870), & was living in Sharps Yard in 1863 & 1865, so I thought she didn't move around much. Couldn't find either Mary Ann or Fanny on the BGS 1861 census transcription, so looked on Ancestry.com, & still no luck. Any ideas? John SHAW aged 4 was buried May 1860. I can find no sign of John SHAW the printer anywhere else, & the only other Mary Anne SHAW in Aylesbury is accounted for, the perpetually unmarried daughter of Joseph. My Mary Anne had a son Harry in 1865, & I think is the Mary Ann who had a son Harry in 1858, & buried him 6 months later. (All St. Marys). My Mary Ann married William Tompkins, former crier & bill sticker 30 years her senior & widowed 6 weeks earlier, in 1870, & buried him 4 months later. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
