Hello Celia Thank you for your reply, I had seen the NICHOLS/SHOULER marriage on the IGI and have been in contact with someone else who is researching Mary, we are both of the same mind that her mother was Martha SHOULER, but it is strange that the other John NICHOLS married a Mary!!. I dont suppose you know where I can find the bap records that would confirm it I will let you know if and when I have confirmation. Where does your connection come from. My Mary "Martha" married a John GIBBARD, she was my eighth great grandmother. regards Ann
