Thanks Hazel, Lindy and Mike. I have just collected a whole bunch of Puddephatts (19thC) connected to my Stanners family. Not that easy to research, Lindy, all sorts of spellings in the census returns, not even Soundex finds them all!. My lot are centered round Markyate Street, Studham if anyone else is interested.
