An Annie RICHMOND (born about 1861 in Haddenham, Bucks) married into a branch of my husband's family in Wells, Somerset in 1886 when she married a Frederick MARSHALL. I think I've found her on the 1881 census as a Ward Attendant at the Three Counties Asylum at Stotford in Bedfordshire. On the 1871 census at Haddenham Bucks she is described as a 10 year old niece of a John RICHMOND (74) widower Also described as his niece is an Elizabeth RICHMOND (unmarried) aged 35 acting as his housekeeper born Haddenham and there is a 4 year old nephew, Horace RICHMOND. I may be wrong but it looks as if Elizabeth might be the mother of Ann and Horace. Can anyone shed any light on this? On the 1851 Bucks Census (Familyhistoryonline) I've found an Elizabeth RICHMOND who was the daughter of a Joseph & Hannah RICHMOND but what I really could do with is the 1861 census entry. Ann called her first child Joseph Horace Richmond MARSHALL so all the above seems feasible. By 1891 Ann was living in Bath and by 1901 she had died. This list has been helpful to me in the past and I'd be very grateful if anyone could help me again. With best wishes Pat Hase http://www.wsmfhs.org.uk/
