    3. Hi Trish The BGS was founded in 1992 with the first magazine published in June of that year. The Bucks Ancestor has always been a quarterly publication with publication dates March, June, September and December. Within a year (apart from 1992) these therefore have issue numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively (because June 1992 was our first publication the issue numbers for that year are June: 1, September: 2, December: 3). Each year the volume number advances so: 1992 Volume1 1993 Volume 2 1994 Volume 3 1995 Volume 4 1996 Volume 5 1997 Volume 6 1998 Volume 7 1999 Volume 8 2000 Volume 9 2001 Volume 10 2002 Volume 11 2003 Volume 12 2004 Volume 13 2005 Volume 14 Regards Kevin Quick -----Original Message----- From: BUCKS-L@rootsweb.com [mailto:BUCKS-L@rootsweb.com] Sent: 09 April 2005 07:39 To: BUCKS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [BKM] "Bucks Ancestor" - Thornborough Importance: Low Hi, I have to hand a recently published list of places in Bucks mentioned in "Bucks Ancestor".   These are listed according to the Volume No. & Issue No. within the volume. I have a problem - I have some extracts concerning the village of Thornborough from this publication, but my listing is according to the month & year of publication & I can't correlate this with the above list.  Volume No. 1 Issue No. 1 appears to be published in June 1992, but Volume No. 14, Issue No. 1 occurs in March 2005, giving the present numbering system of four Issues per calendar year.   I have an article "The Freemasons" from Dec. 1993 & an item "Turvey-Drops" from Sept. 1995, but I'm not sure if these are those listed as occurring in (Vol/Issue) 4/1, 9/3, 9/4,10/1. I may have the others, but I need to know the the month/year of publication & subject heading. Help - please assist me to sort out if I've missed something! Trish Brownrigg.
