Hello List I'm hoping that someone with a greater knowledge of the county than I possess, will be able to decipher a birthplace on a census: 1871 Census RG10 / Piece 1561 / Folio 49 / Page 25 William BACCHUS son, 18 labourer born: Bucks., ?? John BACCHUS son, 16 labourer born Bucks., ?? The address is Workhouse Lane, Leighton Buzzard. I've enlarged it, stared at it, done everything except stand on my head. My family have connections to Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and one of the links between them is the BACCHUS family. Many thanks to anyone with better eyesight than mine!
