I see your problem........as the enumerator originally wrote Leighton and then wrote over it, it's awfully hard to make out. They left the L there at the beginning though, so we know that much. In 1861 their birthplaces are recorded as Buckinghamshire Linslade (and surname as Backhouse), and looking back at 1871 you can see that it certainly could be Linslade.
