Living through history ? the life and times of a small > village in Bucks by Ted Hooten, Published by Chearsley New 1994. It is an excellent book indeed, but published in small numbers. I persuaded Ted to increase the couple of hundred originally intended, but he was financing it himself so was nervous it would bomb. In fact, I think every copy sold out within a couple of months and the only chance of getting hold of one is if someone dies. Ted is dead, but I will check with his widow whether she knows of any floating in the village or, just possibly, she has a duplicate or so. I'll get back on this later. *************************************** BGS Website: http://www.bucksgs.org.uk/ BFHS Website: http://www.bucksfhs.org.uk/ Bucks Genuki Website: http://met.open.ac.uk/genuki/big/eng/BKM/ ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message No virus found in this incoming message.
