Please can anyone help me to fin information relating to the Walter family of Stewkley. John Walter was born c1805 and appears on the 1851 census with his wife Abigail. Can anyone find out when they were married and what her maiden name was? They have a daughter called Eliz(s)abeth bc 1846 also in Stewkley, but i cannot find a record of a birth certificate for her - does anyone have access perhaps to christening records that may help? Finally, can someone see if the family appear on the 1841 census? John and Abigail have a son called Robert b1835 in Stewkley. Yes, there's a John 30, Abegal (this is how it looks as if it is spelt), and Robert 5, all born in county.
