After being off list for some time I have found another reason to come back, and that is, after many years tracking down a brickwall I think I have found my great grandfather but I need some help from the Wolverton or nearby PR's to see if a George Henry RATCLIFFE was chr between 1863-66 with parents Frances & George RATCLIFFE. I have various dates from various sources that he would have been born within these dates, but my latest find that in the 1871 census he is George H.R.Bailey 7 years b Wolverton Bucks, his mother Frances nee ALLEN from Peterborough m George RATCLIFFE in the Dec Qtr 1862, I think George died in the March Qtr 1869, then Frances RATCLIFFE m Thomas Curtis BAILEY in the June Qtr 1870 at Peterborough. In the 1861 census for Wolverton there is a George RATCLIFFE a engineer b Sittingbourne Kent aged 21 years, On George Henry's marriage cert his father is George a engineer and deceased before 1886. Without being more carried away from the above, can some kind lister try and find a birth or Chr for George Henry RATCLIFFE 1863/6 from around the Wolverton area please. Many thanks in advance. I shall also mention my other interest in Bucks, which is TIM(M)s from Bow Brickhill, I have the PR's and have the family going back to 1723 in Oxfordshire, but if you are connected to the Bow Brickhill TIMMS then your email would be most welcomed. Thanks. Best Wishes Bernie [email protected]
