Trying to research SPATCHERs and the much more numerous GEORGEs who lived at the same times, for generations, in Stowe (& Dadford, Lamport, Boycot), there seems to be a significant lack of wills, either at Bucks RO or PCC London, for those who were comfortably placed and who didn't die at a surprisingly young age (when they might have been excused for being intestate). Could some wills of people from these places have got themselves proved somewhere else possibly? For example, Oxfordshire? I'm keenest to find wills from 17th and 18th centuries. Any ideas welcome.
