Hi, In my very large KING family I have a Henry KING (1Cousin 3R) who married an Emma GRACE (born 1835 in Steeple Claydon) Her father was Daniel GRACE born 1800 in Steeple Claydon, and she had a sibling George. I don't have the name of Daniel's first wife (they had four children) but his second wife was Anna (or Hannah). It is believed that Daniel's parents were Thomas & Elizabeth GRACE. The 1841 census has the family at Steeple Claydon, Buckinghamsire - West End Daniel Grace 40 Ag Lab John Grace 15 Ag Lab George Grace 11 James Grace 8 Emma Grace 6 I don't have much on them and it is not all confirmed to my liking but I am starting on it. Is this likely to be your George's family? I of course meant Buckinghamshire not the town. George Grace was first a schoolmaster in Steeple Claydon where most of his children were born. He married Charlotte who came from Gloscestershre. They moved to Winslow where his last son was born. Any information you may have on the "Academy" would be gratefully received. Pat, Interesting family. Not my direct Graces as my George was born about 1800. Interestingly my Graces move to London where they marry into the King family. Coincidence. maybe Daniel and my George are brothers?
