Thanks everyone who assisted in advise on what to do, or where to look. I have now got the information I was seeking, from another source. What I was seeking was who did William TOWERSEY marry at Long Crendon on the 11 January 1840. For many years, I had that he had married Emma ING, but recently I was contacted to advise me that my information is incorrect and that her name was Emma TUG. Search as I might I could not find Emma TUG on any other records other than the printed records on ancestry.co, Free BDM, and FindMyPast. These all appear to be a copy of the printed records. Now viewing the original certificates that have just been emailed to me, I find that she was beyond doubt, Emma ING. The problem was a typo error. Emma ING's parents were Thomas ING and Maria nee BALL. Thanks again everybody Ron New Zealand
