The one excellent thing about the Non-Conformist Register (on bmdregisters) is that the birth records give bits of other vital information - usually exactly where they were born (ie. full address), the father's occupation and the mother's father (name, residence and occupation). Hopefully this site will get cheaper or the records will also be available elsewhere (Ancestry are you listening?) in time. I agree - too expensive at the moment. I only found my family because they have an unusual surname - and therefore I could be certain it was them before I spent silly money downloading 4 images to get the finer details. The only other thing we can do is to share info here about Bucks con-conformists (my own non-cons are from Surrey & Gloucester btw).
