What I found out about the Gunns in my survey was that the family lived in the London area but returned to the highlands to have their children baptized. Then one daughter married a cousin from the highlands and vanishes, but appears to turn up in America, bringing the surname here. IT seems there is an entire clan here that are still holding onto their roots. So I researched the entire clan story. That was where I stopped, to pursue other lines that seemed more pressing.
