If you haven't been there already it might be worth your while popping in and looking at their personal name indexes. I looked at Swanbourne whilst researching the LENO family and, if I remember correctly, the DEVERELLs lived in the local manor house. Hence, they probably have documents relating to property, mortgages, wills, etc., deposited there. Again, the staff at the Bucks RO might be able to confirm this by email.
