I have no idea why a transcript would be incomplete. The records on microfilm look complete to me in the FHS catalog. It has been years since I used but my family was there in that gap you talk about and I have their records. The originals would be in the Public Records Office in Aylesbury, not far from your destination. If your trip were going to be much later, I would have advised you to check for a nearby LDS Branch Library and order in the film.
