    2. The original record for this bap. says William and Ann Steward Strange. I assume the IGI abstracter made the same mistake I initialy made and assumed it was a maiden name. The consensus seems to be that it's just a middle name. You just don't very often see the middle name of an adult recorded in the PRs in that time period, so I just wanted to make sure we weren't dealing with something else.
