Keith The National Index of Parish Registers gives the following information about Aston Clinton St Michael and All Angels - registers exist from 1560 St Leonard - an ancient chapelry in ruins by 17th century, rebuilt a created a parish in 1860 from Aston Clinton. Much used for clandestine marriages.     3. Hi Keith, Do you know if there is a record of "The Chelsea Workhouse" that I could check to see if a person died there or was released? I found my great great grandfather John Bates a bricklayer there in 1881 census but that was the last record I could find. Help from anyone would be appreciated.
