Dear listers, Thanks to all for the advice on how to locate the inquest on William King's death by a certain stone in Ashendon. Which Caroline Liggett kindly found after a lot all searching, after I gave her the wrong burial year, which I did apologies to her for. He apparently was in a pit doing stone digging when the side caved in and sadly he was buried alive, in front of two of his sons and a grandson. Regards Andrea
Hi Andrea, Could you let me know if your William King is the same as mine. All I know is that my one was married to a Sarah and they had a daughter in 1820 called Elizabeth who married my John Sear in 1842 at Warwick. Hello Martin, No, he is not your William King, what I should have done was put his death age down which was 68y and he was from Wotton Underwood, but looking at the IGI your William King x 1st Sept 1817 (Drayton Parslow) Sarah Toe, Elizabeth c 19th Dec 1820 (Drayton Parslow). Did you see Hamilton's crash (F1) Andrea -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of martin sear Sent: 21 July 2007 02:32 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [BKM] William King inquest found.
