    3. Matin, thank you for looking for the death of James New, I appreciate your time. I was told by family members that Burnham was where he died, however, one has to have proof. Looks like I will have to look elsewhere. 3. Jenette, If you can ascertain when he was buried you will have a date to find a death certificate with. If you believe him to have been buried "at the Burnham Church Cemetery" then you should see if you can find his burial in the Burials Register. http://met.open.ac.uk/genuki/big/eng/BKM/Burnham/ tells us that the registers for St. Peter, Burnham have been deposited in the Buckinghamshire Record Office in Aylesbury but they don't seem to go as late as 1945 so you'd need to find someone locally who can check the current register for you with the incumbent. But I see that there is also a St Mary's Burnham: http://www.stmarysburnham.org.uk/ so you may need to find where any Burial Registers are located. Burnham appears to be in South Bucks Council area: http://www.southbucks.gov.uk/ so you could try contacting them first and ask which burial places were in use around 1945 to ascertain which locations you need to check. Burnham seems to be/have been in the Eton registration district and near the boundary with Berkshire and I see that information relating to the Weslyan Methodist Church in Burnham is held at Berkshire Records Office so are you sure James was CofE else you may need to look over in Berkshire for burial information.
