Dear listers, Recently I posted a request for help in finding David, Jane and James NIXEY in the 1841 census. This evening, I discovered they also had a daughter, Charlotte, who was born in 1838 in Clewer, Berkshire, and in the 1851 census was living with her uncle and aunt, James and Elizabeth PAINE. Going to the 1841 census, I decided to search for any Charlotte's born between 1837 and 1841, starting off in Berkshire, and found a Charlotte Nixon, aged 3, and a James Nixon aged 1, in the household of a William Hawtory aged 25 at Clewer, Berkshire. This name means nothing to me at the moment. I was wondering if sks could kindly check the image for me to see if the children's surname was transcribed as NIXON rather than NIXEY please? And, if its not too much to ask, would it be possible to have a transcription of the additional household details, such as address and William's occupation, etc, please? The ref is: 1841 census HO107; Piece 26; Folio: 7; Page: 8. Please don't send images offlist though, as I'm totally blind and I wouldn't benefit from your kindness. Thanks! Kindest regards to all, Jon
