Albert Holmes b Great Brickhill 1866 married AMY between 1881 and 1886. She was born in Newton Longeville circa 1864. We know this from censuses BUT I cannot find their marriage on BMD. Has anyone any idea why and how to go about finding this record? Margaret

Hi Margaret With respect finding them together in the census does not tell you they were married :-) However try :- Marriages Jun 1886 BARKER Ruth Newport P. 3a 913 Holmes Albert Henry Newport Pagnell 3a 913 TODD William Newport P 3a 913 WARD Mary Amy Newport P. 3a 913 The birth cert for one of the children would give the maiden name of the mother This might be Albert junior ?
