Has anyone got access to Waddesdon parish records for marriages pre civil registrations please. I am interested in a period from 1799-1838, for William Slade. This could be 1 x William or 2 x William! I have 3 marriages - 13 Jun.1799 to Ann Harding, 14 Jun.1807 = Elizabeth Allen, 29 July 1838 to Sarah Windmill. I suspect it is likely to be two different Williams, and the only wayI can idetify him/them particularly appears to be by their age(s) and father's name. I believe Ann (nee Harding) died in 1838, so the marriage in that year to Sarah Windmill (who was a widow by the way) might be a 2nd one, but to which William? The fathers concerned are likely to be Joseph Slade, or another William Slade. I hope there are enough details above for someone to be able to clarify this problem for me.
