    1. Re: [BKM] BucksFHS next Northern Group meeting 4th Nov - Tracking Down Grandfather George
    2. What a pity I live so far away,I would love to hear John Smiths' story. I have been trying to help a friend with a similar story his name was James C Smith, born Slough Bucks 1861, up to 1881 his middle initial C was shown, after that it was dropped, she and I have discovered just how many James Smith's there are, and if various sights are to be believed a number of them born in either Slough Bucks or Bucks and it is impossible to buy every death certificate from about 1890 on and/or gain anything, as details of parents is lacking. It becomes ones of life's mysteries. So glad a cousin, ninth removed did most of the Buckinghamshire research of my family, I was one of the lucky ones. Please enjoy your meeting and chat, would love to hear how he over came the brick wall of so many "Smiths", you never know might win the lottery and just pop in for a chat (grin) Coralj - Aus
