Where did the marriage on 8 June 1817 take place? Are John and Elizabeth still alive in 1841 - if so where are they and are they born in county or out? You say you have little on John so presumably that means you have yet to find his death/burial - so which is the last census you can find him on, and where? Do they have any children? When and where are they born?
