Thankyou for your reply, Eve. I knew that George Treadwell King had died young, but I had no details - so I'm very pleased to have this information. But, I'm really surprised that his burial place, and that of his mother Anne King, nee Treadwell, would be Westbury and not Westcott/Waddesdon. Perhaps it was Anne's wish that she be buried at her birthplace. Anne King, nee Treadwell, died in childbirth 10th July 1839 Westcott, Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire, according to her death certificate. In 1841, the mother of Anne King (nee Treadwell) - whose name was Anne Treadwell - was living with her son-in-law Thomas King at Westcott. I assumed that the senior Anne Treadwell had gone to help Thomas with his children after her daughter's death. As far as I know, I don't have any KING ancestors from Westbury - only this particular TREADWELL family. A final note - Thomas King was married again, many years later, at Brill - and fathered two more sons. He died at Brill 6th April 1879. According to his will he was a landsurveyor. His gravestone is next to the path to All Saints Church if approached from Church Street.
