Hi I'm looking for information on - or descendants of - Henry HOOTON of Ravenstone, Bucks. Henry was born abt 1809 in Bucks and married Sarah WEST (b Dublin) in Ravenstone in 1827. They had 6 children, all born in Ravenstone - John cr 1827, Sophia b abt 1829 (my g-g-grandmother), Thomas b abt 1831, Mary cr 1834, Abigail b 1837 and Edward b 1839. Henry died in Ravenstone in 1842 and Sarah in 1865. My main concern is tracing Henry's forebears. I wondered if anyone has access to the Ravenstone Parish Records - or, if I order the film through my FHC, whether the marriage entry is likely to show where Henry was born.
