    3. Hello, I have found many Healy ancestors from Bucks using Ancestry.com. I would like to increase my knowledge to include burial locations, addresses, occupations, holdings, probates, cause of death, businesses owned, schools attended. In short anything there is to learn. I am aware that this may be a difficult endeavor, but any suggestions are welcome. I have been unable to locate death records for my great great grandparents William Healy b 24 Mar 1806 in Hedgerley and Caroline Jones b about 1820 in Christchurch, Surrey. Can anyone offer help in this matter. Thank you, Edward Healy New Jersey USA

    3. Hi Eddie One suggestion, make sure you are also keeping an eye out for the spelling HELEY, particularly when looking in non-electronic sources, or databases that don't use soundex. Heley is the common spelling, at least in Wing. A fair number of the Wing Heleys were also non-confomists (specifically Baptist and Congregational), not sure about Heleys further afield. In relation to William and Caroline, it might be helpful to let us know which year the latest census you found them in was, and where they were living then. Broadly speaking though, you would want to be checking the civil death registration index (available on Ancestry and other places) in the decade following the census you found them in, keeping an eye out for any matching deaths in the registration district that covers the village/town they were living in in that particular census. Assuming you find a suitable match, you can then order a copy of the death certificate. Once you have the death certificate you will have a definite place of death, so you will know which parish registers to hunt down in order to see if there is a burial entry.
