My Great Grandfather (Karl Eduard) and GGMother (Auguste nee DARKOW) came to Australia in 1874 from Hamburg on the Herschel. Their daughter Martha (aged 2) came with them. The immigration records show them as BIOCK. The family settled in Nundah, Brisbane, Queensland. GGFather was a Dragoon in the Prussian Army from 1867 to 1871.
